But I feel that I must comment on it, since I have some knowledge on it. <BR/><BR/>Changing a University College (UC) to University is not for cosmetic purposes, but an upgrade of sorts. It allows a different system for the institution to offer their courses, and an honour for the instituition, as the government invites them to become a full-fledged university. <BR/><BR/>It also means a whole new licensing, allowing the new university to provide added value programmes etc, to students. Things that a UC is not able to do. <BR/><BR/>So it's not just a cosmetic thing. And once a UC becomes a full Uni, names change, and sometimes, changing the name could harm the brand value of the previous name. it's all really tedious, and sparks many debates.Kameliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18185359602051928759noreply@blogger.com
